QUANTITY: 100 ug each of 8 Biotinylated reagents : Sufficient for use with approximately 108 Ficoll prepared PBMC
Information: Low Density Granulocytes(LDG) are a unique sub population of cells associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) etiology. Isolated low density granulocytes (LDG) have capacity to interfere with differentiation of Endothelial precursors. While LDG have impaired phagocytic function, they are cytotoxic to vascular endothelium. LDG also exhibit enhanced extracellular trap (NET) ability. This cell population may play a significant role in SLE progression.
This cocktail of 8 Biotinylated monoclonal antibodies has been used in conjunction with anti-Biotin MACS beads to quickly isolate and characterize this unusual population of neutrophils from ficoll prepared, RBC-lysed Systemic Lupus Erythematosus patient blood. Purity of isolated cells was determined as >95% CD10+, CD15+/CD14lo.
